From submersible lights to a spreader for tight situations, here are new and interesting products for your next project.
Add lights, color to water features
Brighten up your next project with WAC Lighting’s InvisiLED 24-volt outdoor tape lighting system. Water-sealed in silicone-cased tape, the InvisiLED lights are IP-68 rated and can be submersed in up to 5 feet of water. The tape is available in the five-color Classic or the color-changing Palette systems. The Classic system operates on 2 watts per foot, while the Palette runs on 1 1/2 watts per foot. The LED tape’s profile is 1/2 inch wide and 1/8 inch tall and can be cut in the field every 2 inches. The system offers a minimum run length of 1 foot and a maximum length of 40 feet. It has wireless controller features that include pausing and playing the RGB color-changing effects and controlling the color-changing speed.
Looks like new
Rejuvenate pavers with Techniseal’s NuLook tinted sealant. NuLook is made from acrylic, urethane and nanocrystal pigments and has a semi-transparent coating that can add new color to pavers and poured concrete. Available in four colors, NuLook also protects against weathering and staining.
Loader with a view
With more than 131 inches of near-vertical lift height, Gehl’s V330 skid loader uses an 84-horsepower, turbo-diesel engine. Braced by steel plating, the lift arm design provides views to the sides of the loader and a direct line-of-sight to the bucket cutting edge. The V330 also features adjustable joystick controls and a side-folding restraint bar and armrests.
Spread in tight spots
Manage ice at an entry-level price with SnowEx’s SP-65 walk-behind broadcast spreader. With its 100-pound capacity, the spreader is ideal for use on sidewalks, driveways and other tight applications. The SP-65 has a noncorrosive polyethylene hopper with a single-slot port design and handles bagged rock salt and pelletized material.
Mask concrete walls
Named one of the Top Ten Green Building Products of 2011 by Sustainable Industries, the SmartSlope Living Retaining Wall system is comprised of individual 20-inch-wide, 8-inch-high, 15-inch-deep modules. Each module has a polymer liner bonded to the interior surface and is designed as a planting container. Once the system is installed in a checker-board pattern, you can add plants to each module pocket.
