Design App for iPad

Would you like to create landscape designs when you’re out of the office? Now, there’s an app for that. Transfer a project from your computer or create a design from scratch on your iPad with Drafix Software’s Pro Landscape Companion. Working with Pro Landscape Version 18, the app lets you show customers complete proposals in an impressive format, as well as 3D movies and other design options created with Pro Landscape. The app is free from the App Store on the iPad or at itunes.com/appstore. This app will be available for other tablets soon.

Don’t let snow push you around

Designed for sidewalk snow removal, Pro-Tech’s V-Plow Sno Pushers have universal couplers for attaching to both skid steers and tractors. Three V-Plow models are available with 4-, 5- and 6-foot widths and are constructed from 1/2-inch hardened steel. The V configuration is angled to slice through snow, whereas the moldboards are rounded for windrowing.

Split in either direction

Dosko released the 2000LS-H two-way log splitter last month at The Rental Show in New Orleans. The 25-inch horizontal log splitter features a 160-cc Honda OHV commercial engine and has a 20-ton splitting force. It uses a two-stage, 11-gpm hydraulic pump and has a seven-second cycle time.

Take on work in spades

Dig, place and carry trees and debris with the FFC tree spade by Paladin Construction. With no moving parts, the tree spade is available in 36-, 40-, 44- and 48-inch ball sizes and attaches to skid steer, utility tractor and backhoe loaders.
