The PTO-driven aerator works without slicing or cutting, and its vibrating tines deep-fracture hard, compacted soil instead of drilling cores. The AERA-vator cuts down on time and labor, compared to walk-behind aerators.

With 10 mph ground speeds, the Ferris IS 2000Z mower features a four-wheel suspension system. Engine options include a 32-gross horsepower Briggs & Stratton Vanguard Big Block, 28- or 30-gross horsepower Briggs & Stratton Commercial Turf Series or 25.5-gross horsepower Kawasaki FX801V engines. John Deere launched the Z700 ZTrak Series for entry-level professionals. With three models ranging from 48- to 60-inch decks, the series features a 7-Iron II mower deck with mowing speeds up to 10 mph and a 400-pound towing capacity.
