Put on the pressure

Hannay Reels’s PW-2 Series reel mounts to most pressure washers. It is designed for mobile and portable pressure-wash equipment, as well as steam cleaning, spray and wash-down applications. The PW-2 Series has a pressure rating of up to 4,000 psi and is constructed of 12- and 14-gauge steel.

Four times the improvements

The Hustler X-One commercial mower, which updates the Hustler Z, features VX4 deck technology. Standing for velocity, volume, vacuum and versatility, the VX4 technology helps improve discharge dispersion, air and grass volume throughput, ground speeds and cut quality. It also includes adjustable front-inner walls.

Handle rough terrain

Treat an acre in 15 minutes with PermaGreen’s Triumph spreader sprayer. Powered by a super-duty Honda engine, the spreader sprayer has a 150-pound hopper,

low-volume spray system with 12-gallon spray tank and all-wheel braking with power steering and front ABS. It also covers rough terrain with an articulating sulky and drop-down handlebar system.

Keep debris in

Mow tall grass, thick weeds and brush with Ventrac’s HQ680 Tough Cut mower. A large, baffled front opening allows brush to enter for cutting and hinders debris from escaping. Three heavy-duty blades counter rotate to cut and drop materials evenly without windrowing, and they cut material up to 1/2 inch in diameter.

Eliminate turning radius

The Husqvarna PZ6029FX zero-turn mower has a heavy-duty canister air filter and rollover protective structure (ROPS), which can be lowered in areas with low-hanging branches. It also features a 6-inch deck depth, 7-inch cooling fans, 1 1/2-gallon oil capacity, removable foot pan and adjustable steering levers.

Dress it up

Earth & Turf Product’s Model 220 MultiSpread pull-type topdresser spreader, which replaces Model 200, is a ground-drive unit that takes power from both of its wheels. It spreads topdressing for lawns, athletic fields, infield mix for baseball infields, chips on pathways and salt-sand or grit on sidewalks and driveways. The MultiSpread has a 15-cubic-feet capacity and spread width of up to 60 inches.

Cut above the rest

Tame the nature around you with Billy Goat’s BC2600 Outback brushcutter with a Tuff Torq hydro transmission. It features a 26-inch-wide deck, 12-degree pivoting deck with return-to-neutral and plow-style handles. The blade spindle is reinforced in four directions.

Battery power

With 36-volt lithium-ion power, the Stihl Battery KombiSystem offers a variety of tools, including a chainsaw, blower, trimmer and hedge trimmer, that don’t require gasoline or power cords. The BGA 85 handheld blower delivers an air velocity of 102 mph at the nozzle, and the MSA 160 C-BQ chainsaw can be used for indoor projects.

No more cores

Aerate and loosen compacted soil on large turf areas with Grasshopper’s AERA-vator. The PTO-driven aerator works without slicing or cutting, and its vibrating tines deep-fracture hard, compacted soil instead of drilling cores. The AERA-vator cuts down on time and labor, compared to walk-behind aerators.

Engine options

With 10 mph ground speeds, the Ferris IS 2000Z mower features a four-wheel suspension system. Engine options include a 32-gross horsepower Briggs & Stratton Vanguard Big Block, 28- or 30-gross horsepower Briggs & Stratton Commercial Turf Series or 25.5-gross horsepower Kawasaki FX801V engines. All models offer twin 5 1/2-gallon fuel tanks.

Good starting place

John Deere launched the Z700 ZTrak Series for entry-level professionals. With three models ranging from 48- to 60-inch decks, the series features a 7-Iron II mower deck with mowing speeds up to 10 mph and a 400-pound towing capacity. The Z700s are equipped with pneumatic front tires, a high-back bucket seat with armrests, a fully folding rollover protective structure and John Deere’s Brake & Go system.

Maneuver any landscape

The Cub Cadet Tank LZ zero-turn mower features four-wheel steering, elasticity vibration control (EVC) seating system and a quick-adjust lap bar system that opens in any position. The mower is ideal for navigating up to 15 acres of commercial or complex landscapes daily.
