| Get Rid of Geese Whether you’re maintaining a golf course or commercial retention pond, Canada geese can leave a mess and be a nuisance. (One goose can eat up to 4 pounds of grass per day, leaving behind 3 pounds of waste.) The AwayWithGeese system provides a way to get rid of the birds without harsh chemicals, dogs or noise-making devices. The system operates at night and produces an amber 360-degree beam of light directed at goose eye-level and then recharges itself during the day. This beam simulates the eye reflection of a predator and disrupts the geese’s ability to sleep. Then, the geese no longer consider this area “safe.” The AwayWithGeese company uses Google Earth to take a snapshot of the property to recommend the best placement of the system.
