Operate equipment during winter

Designed for equipment weighing up to 18,000 pounds, Sectional Sno-Pusher’s (a division of Arctic Snow and Ice Control Products) LD pushers attach to backhoes, skid steers, compact loaders and tractors. The steel moldboard has 32-inch-wide individual sections, spring-loaded trip edges and an AR-400 hardened-steel trip cutting edge. The pushers are available in four sizes.

Optional mulching

Stamped with 7-gauge steel, John Deere’s 7Iron Mulch on Demand mower deck has an 18-inch-wide discharge chute. Six anti-scalp wheels are located at all four corners and the deck’s front-center position. Landscapers can switch between mulching and side discharging with the Mulch on Demand.

Swing rotation

At 925 pounds without a bucket, the Bradco 485 backhoe by Paladin Construction Group for skid steers or tractors has a maximum digging depth of 8 feet 5 inches. The backhoe has a 180-degree dual-cylinder swing rotation and a 10-foot 7-inch horizontal reach from the swing post.

Obstacle protection

Featuring deep-curl flared wings, Hiniker’s VF Series V-plows use double-acting hydraulic cylinders and quad halogen headlights. Also available in a conventional level-top configuration, the VF Series is available in 8 1/2- and 9 1/2-foot widths. The pinch-free pivot point is located 9 inches above ground level for protection from obstacles such as curbs and parking barriers.

A bucket that rocks

Sift or rake with Blue Diamond’s rock bucket, which uses 3/8-inch steel with tines spaced at 3 inches. It also works as a land plane, skimming off high spots with the leading edge and smoothing the loose soil off with the rear cross bar. The drop-down inside keeps rocks from sliding out.

Do more when mowing

Remove embedded thatch and leaves or comb up matted turfgrass while mowing with JRCO’s tine rake dethatcher. Flexible tines allow zero turning while raking. It’s available in 36-, 46- and 60-inch widths and attaches to the JRCO universal mount bar with clevis pins.

Grab a tree

Pull posts, rebar, invasive shrubs, trees and roots out of the ground with CEAttachments’ Edge tree pull/grabbing tool. It opens up to 12 inches and features three welded brackets to secure hydraulic hoses away from the jaws. Hoses and flat-face couplers are included with the tool.

Need a lift?

Throw, blow snow

Pro-Tech’s Sno Blower skid steer attachments for its Sno Pusher containment plows are ideal for removing drifts and clearing large driveways or long stretches of pavement. The line includes two models: the BL72S (74 1/2 inches wide by 38 1/2 inches high) and the BL78S (38 1/2 inches high by 80 1/2 inches wide). Both feature a 20-inch fan diameter, 14-inch auger diameter and a throwing distance of 40 feet.

Laser accuracy

Available on 600, 700 and 800 platform M-Series compact track loaders, the Bobcat BLR2 laser receiver connects to the deluxe instrumentation panel. Laser control on Bobcat attachments can be automatic or by indication – where the operator looks at arrows to determine if the blade needs to move up or down. The grade can be moved up or down in 1/10-inch increments up to 2 inches.

Level off

Earth & Turf Products’ grading plane for small compact tractors has a 60-inch grading width. With a dual-angled blade, the grading plane is designed for smooth leveling. It has bolt-on, reversible cutting edges and a Category 1 three-point hitch.

One pass

Create a seed bed in one pass with RotaDairon’s Soil Renovator. With reverse rotation blades, screening rods, a grader blade and a packer roller, the Soil Renovator has an adjustable work depth up to 5 1/2 inches deep. Transform your bits

Decrease the exchange time between the drive unit, bit and teeth with the Caterpillar work tools auger bits, which are compatible with A7B, A14B, A19B and A26B augers.
