Takeuchi-US has introduced a new model in its compact excavator lineup, the TB210R. The company says the machine’s minimal tail swing design, coupled with the ability to adjust components of the TB210R, will enable operators to access and work in extraordinarily confined spaces.
For example, the TB210R has a retractable undercarriage and a backfill blade that can go from 40.2 inches wide down to 29.5 inches wide. In addition, its foldable roll-over protective structure canopy enables the operator to reduce the machine’s overall height.
Upgrades to the TB210R include pilot-operated joystick controls with an ISO/SAE control pattern change valve, selector valve and pilot accumulator. Takeuchi-US says the pilot controls deliver excellent fine control and responsiveness while the addition of the ISO/SAE pattern change valve allows the operator to choose a preferred operational pattern.
To enhance attachment versatility, the manufacturer says, the TB210R features a selector valve for one-way and two-way auxiliary hydraulic flow, and the new pilot accumulator enables the operator to remove residual pressure from the auxiliary lines.
A new Kubota D722-E4B three-cylinder engine powers the TB210R and delivers nearly 22 percent more horsepower than its predecessor, the TB108. The engine oil filter and dipstick are accessed through a lockable access panel below the operator’s seat. A lockable swing-out panel on the left side of the machine provides access to the fuel fill and sight gauge, fuel filter with shut-off, and the dual-element air cleaner. In addition, the rear engine hood opens overhead, providing access to the hydraulic tank and sight gauge, battery, coolant reserve tank, pattern change valve and one-way flow selector valve.
Takeuchi-US says the new compact excavator carries a two-year, 2,000-hour warranty. Go here for more details on the machine’s specifications.
