The NMC 2850 articulated compact loader can be a jack of all trades for landscapers thanks to its 2,850-pound lift capacity.
Powered by a Kubota 84.5-horsepower turbo diesel engine, the NMC 2850 has front and rear powered axles with 45 percent limited slip for traction.
The operator controls are straightforward, with one joystick for bucket functions and a separate lever for power attachments. The loader also has a 97-inch dump height and a self-leveling bucket lift system.
“The new NMC 2850 is ideal for lift-carry-dump cycles in fertilizer plants. Its rugged design coupled with simplified electrical components provides superior performance and durability in caustic applications,” said Bruce Steingart, vice president of marketing for NMC-Wollard. “And articulated steering eliminates problems of skid-steer ruts in landscape, construction, turf, park maintenance, golf course and other sensitive surface applications.”
NMC-Wollard has been in business since the 1930s. The company acquired the Swinger brand of utility size front-end articulated wheel loaders in 1992. NMC’s articulated loaders are commonly used in tree care, landscaping and nursery operations.
