Kubota has debuted two new commercial mowers that will be available at Kubota dealerships in December 2017.

The new Z700 Series of zero-turn mowers focuses on the comfort aspect with its high back seat and padded armrests, which are designed to handle rough terrain.

“We are particularly excited to be introducing the new Z700 models; I have no doubt that landscape professionals will rejoice when they experience the new premium adjustable suspension seat,” said Tom Vachal, Kubota senior turf product manager.

The seat allows operators up to 3 inches of vertical travel while being able to slide fore and aft 6 inches.

Parker TorqPact HTG 14 transmissions, the most power-dense transmission available for commercial turf applications, allows the Z700 Series to have the necessary combination of speed and torque, according to Kubota.

The other mower that Kubota presented to landscapers during GIE+EXPO is a 21-inch walk-behind for commercial landscapers.

“Adding the 21-inch commercial walk-behind mower to our popular W Series family of walk-behind mowers ultimately provides turf professionals with more options and versatility under the Kubota brand they have come to trust.”

The 21-inch walk-behind has two different models. The WGC6-21 comes with a blade brake clutch, which allows the operator to walk away from the mower with the blades stopped but keeps the engine running.

The WG6-21 has a zone start option. The cast aluminum deck features steel edge guards. In response to landscaper demands, this mower has cast aluminum wheels with dual ball bearings and replaceable wide rubber tires.

The new machine is powered by a Kawasaki FJ180 and has a 3-speed heavy-duty transmission.

This addition to the W Series now allows landscapers to choose between 21-inch, 36-inch, 48-inch and 52-inch deck sizes for Kubota’s walk-behind models.
