Woods, a manufacturer of a variety of landscaping equipment and attachments, says it BH65 and BH75 “Groundbreaker” backhoes are a logical choice for professional landscapers because of their size and capabilities.

Both models feature a curved boom design which, according to Woods, enables them to reach over obstacles while allowing superior visibility for the operator with little repositioning.

The manufacturer, based in Oregon, Illinois, says the BH65 and BH75 are ideal for trenching and excavating, in addition to general landscaping work. Three bucket choices are available for the BH65: 9-inch trenching, 12-inch all-purpose and 16-inch maximum capacity. The BH75 can use any of those buckets but also accommodates widths of 18 and 24 inches.

The smaller model has maximum of 30 horsepower while the BH75 is available in a 40-horsepower version.

Details on both models’ specifications can be found here. Woods is a brand of Blount International’s Farm, Ranch and Agriculture Division.
