Restaurant revitalization
The Melting Pot, Farmingdale, New York
Landscaping designed and installed by Green Island Design, Deer Park, New York

To help a new Melting Pot restaurant build buzz for its opening, Green Island Design constructed “The Preserve” – an 8-foot by 5-foot fountain made of South Bay Quartzite. The fountain resembles the shape, sound and feel of an actual “melting pot,” complete with bubbling water that cascades down the tapered sides. Lights were positioned to highlight the intricate stonework. The fountain is visible from a half-mile away, providing a lot of customer draw for the restaurant. Price withheld at customer’s request.
