Deere adds two models with radial lift boom
John Deere has added the 313 and 315 models to its 300 Series of skid-steer loaders. Powered by a 45-horsepower, Tier IV-certified John Deere PowerTech 4024T engine, both machines are compact and maneuverable in tight spaces. Each features a radial lift boom, electronic controls for idle stability, cold start performance and transient response and respective operating capacities of 1,300 and 1,500 pounds.


Gehl introduces new loader, redesigns a second
Gehl has added the new 5240E skid loader to its line and redesigned its 4640E skid loader with a more compact chassis. The 5240E can lift up to 122 inches, while the new chassis on the 4640E makes it ideal for work in compact spaces. Both models feature a 62-horsepower Tier III turbo-diesel engine.


Cat unveils four C-Series loaders
Caterpillar’s four new C-Series skid-steer loaders – the 246C, 256C, 262C and 272C include standard features such as an electro-hydraulic joystick control of the hydrostatic drive system and electronic torque management. Optional features include a sealed and pressurized cab and air suspension seat.


Skid steers with improved cold start capabilities
New Holland is reintroducing its Super Boom skid-steer line. Models in the line feature a Tier III-certified, four-cylinder turbocharged engine. To improve cold start capabilities, the machines are equipped with batteries with 30-percent more cold cranking amps, powerful starters and standard grid heaters.


Roller suspension system featured on compact track loaders
Bobcat’s new compact track loader suspension system uses all-steel components and is available as an option on the T250, T300 and T320 models. The new system increases operator comfort by minimizing vibration at the ground and requiring less steering lever effort to turn the loader.


Case upgrades skid-steer line
Case’s new 400 Series skid steers feature increased net horsepower ranging from 57 to 83. Models also include improved serviceability and a redesigned cab with a 7-percent increase in headroom and a 6-percent increase in lap-bar width.
