MosquitoMax keeps bugs back
MosquitoMax Misting Systems’ wall-mounted tankless machines offer more chemical options – conventional or green product ready, longer refill life due to larger holding capacity and increased safety with a tamper-proof enclosure.

Irritrol’s new spray heads and nozzles available
Irritrol’s I-PRO series of spray heads and nozzles are available with 3-, 4-, 6- and 12-inch
pop-up heights. The 12-inch model comes with a side inlet, and the 6-inch model comes with or without a side inlet. I-PRO always allows for retrofitting into a competitor’s 4-inch body.

Tensiometers benefit irrigation control research
Forestry Suppliers’ tensiometers withstand fixed installation in the field thanks to hermetically-sealed resilient neoprene jackets that protect against weather and shock. A neoprene O-ring stem seal allows the dial gauge to be removed or oriented in a convenient reading position. The vacuum gauge with large dial face is graduated from 0 to 100 centibars of soil suction.

Micro-managers for every micro-climate
Rain Master’s Oasis smart ET/weather-based irrigation controller features two-way communication and Smart Alerts. According to the manufacturer water savings have been reported in excess of 25 percent using these controllers. Products include central control systems, controllers and hand-held remotes.

Trencher provides excellent traction
Barreto Manufacturing’s new 1824TK track trencher features a 238-square-inch footprint providing straighter trenches and improved flotation on unstable soil. A safety clutch on the left handlebar engages and disengages hydraulic power to the track drive and digging chain without micro-switches or killing the engine.

Efficient pop-up sprinklers
Valvette System’s Little Tuffy pop-up sprinklers eliminate overspray, misting and pressure regulation. One nozzle provides irrigation from four feet to 15 feet; simply change nozzles for drip or microspray capabilities. Nozzles are available in 4- and 6-inch versions.

Easily replaceable cutting edge
The Edge from IMT Underground Products is an easily replaceable alternative to vibratory plow blades. It cuts through tough roots and hard ground conditions for less than half the price of a new vibratory plow blade.

Valves change pumps from standard to variable flow
Cycle Stop Valves are mechanical, constant-pressure control valves that inflict less wear and tear on pumps and irrigation controls because they cycle on and off less often. Models are available for flow ranges from 1 to 5,000 gpm.

Telescopic pop-ups for new and retrofit installation jobs
Hit Products introduces 7- and 13-inch telescopic pop-up sprinkler heads feature 4 and 6-inch pop-up bodies, respectively, requiring less digging and labor on new irrigation installations. A minimum of 20 psi is required for positive pop up.

Soil moisture sensor delivers right amount of water
Irrometer’s WaterSwitch soil moisture control ensures plant material gets the proper amount of water every time you irrigate. A Watermark sensor in the soil sends moisture information to a control module that regulates water cycles. No seasonal adjustments are necessary.
