Bobcat has introduced a new pallet fork that is designed to improve visibility and has an integrated walk-through for easier operator entry and exit from the cab.

The new frame can be used on all Bobcat skid steers, compact track loaders, Toolcat utility work machines and the V519 VersaHANDLER telescopic tool carrier. The attachment can easily move bagged or palletized materials and comes in three models.

The standard-duty model has a 2,500-pound carrying capacity. The heavy-duty model has a 4,000-pound capacity and the severed-duty pallet fork frame has a 5,500-pound capacity.

The attachment has reinforced brick-guards to protect and secure the load and an optional brick guard height extension is available for the severe-duty model. The extension closes the walk-through portion off and takes minimal time to install or remove.

There are multiple tine options with 42- and 48-inch lengths and bale forks at 40.8-inch length.

Bobcat also has debuted its new compact track loader 5-Link torsion suspension undercarriage, which has been in the works for over two years.

This new undercarriage is currently available on the M2-Series T870 compact track loader. It is designed to increase uptime, operator comfort and serviceability, according to Bobcat.

Wider rollers are used to maximize contact with the rubber tracks to reduce wear and improve the ride for users. The rubber tracks are also lengthened to increase surface area and ground contact for better flotation and machine performance in soft terrains like mud.

The 5-Link torsion suspension undercarriage has a new drive motor that is easier to maintain and more durable. A fifth link on the rear axle helps stabilize the machine and improve its performance in tasks such as grading.

Bobcat also added an automatic hydraulic track tensioning system, eliminating the need for manually adjusting the track tension with a grease gun.

All the new elements of the undercarriage’s design help improve the ride quality and minimize vibrations encountered on the job site. The 5-Link torsion suspension undercarriage is also quieter for operators.

As for maintenance, users have five easy to access grease fittings and recessed fittings are protected from jobsite debris. A horizontally mounted hydraulic track tension cylinder allows for more space between the undercarriage and the tracks for cleanout.

Raised cutouts between the rollers also help with cleaning. For more information, click here.
