Wright Manufacturing says commercial lawn-care workers will appreciate the company’s compact “Stander Intensity,” or Stander I, which is Wright’s first machine with a 36-inch deck to incorporate its “Aero Core” technology. The Stander I’s deck boasts improved airflow, cut quality and anti-blow-out features, the company says.

Wright also offers the Stander I with 48-inch and 52-inch decks. Engines range from 18.5 to 22.1 horsepower.

The floating deck on the Stander I tilts side-to-side and front-to-back, allowing the mower deck to better follow the terrain contours. Wright says it also improves the weight distribution for better handling on hills.

The deck height can be adjusted “on the fly” in quarter-inch increments, and anti-scalp rollers automatically adjust the deck height to changes in terrain.

Wright Manufacturing says the Stander I is built for operator comfort, providing easy and safe step-off to pick up debris or in case of an emergency. The floating stand-on platform absorbs jostling from rough terrain through elastopolymer bumpers, and the bumpers are designed to accommodate operators of various weight.

The machine’s wide stance provides greater control, Wright says, and its forward slant makes the controls more ergonomic.

Recessed caster wheels reduce the turning radius. This feature, combined with the compact footprint and handling, enables operators to trim as they mow, according to Wright.
