Designed for the Cat M and K Series small wheel loaders, flat-floor buckets are general purpose buckets that incorporate a long floor and rear cutting edge to aid light grading or back-dragging tasks.

The flat-floor bucket is one of Cat’s Performance Series buckets, which feature curved side bars to promote an aggressive cut and better rollover, plus a wide-throat design for easier loading and increased fill factors. Cat says its flat-floor buckets have a higher fill factor, averaging 110 percent, compared to competitive buckets with the same rated capacity.

The bucket’s base surface life is extended via reinforced side edges, corner and side-edge protectors, and the bolt-on cutting edge or welded-on teeth. An integrated spill guard and material deflector plates help protect from spill-over. The flat-floor models can be used with laser control during forward grading, and the rear cutting edge leaves a smooth finish when back dragging.

The buckets are available in capacities from 3.0 to 3.8 cubic yards with either a pin-on, Fusion coupler or ISO interface.
