The Excavator Multi-Ripper Rake™ From Leading Edge Attachments, Inc. Patent Pending

Updated Sep 20, 2010

Problem: Removing imbedded rocks and roots or stumps with a backhoe or excavator.

Solution: The new Multi-Ripper Rake™ from Leading Edge Attachments, Inc. is designed to handle severe root raking and imbedded rock removal jobs with a backhoe or excavator above 11,000 pounds! This powerful tool is an engineering breakthrough based on the previously developed, patent pending, SHARC™ (Shanks on an ARC) Multi-Ripper technology. The Multi-Ripper Rake can be used for a wide range of tough material applications such as land clearing, tilling, rock and root clearing, stump removal, demolition, material sifting and certain ripping applications.

The Multi-Ripper Rake functions similarly to that of a trencher except it uses the hydraulic excavator rolling action to rip, lift and break up tough ground, roots and rocks. The staggered tine tips break up the hard ground in sequential order. No two tines align with each other, so that the maximum breakout force is applied sequentially to each tine. The rolling of the Multi-Ripper Rake, by extending the bucket cylinder, always provides the full multiplied breakout force individually on each tine so that the bank material is ripped out by each individual tine lifting action. The tines are constructed from thick, long wearing AR400 steel. Call Toll Free: 866-928-5800, Fax: 508-829-4822, email: [email protected] or visit: www.leadingedgeattachments.com
