LIPPMANN LAUNCHES NEW MOBILE TRACK JAW PLANT

CUDAHY, WI Lippmann-Milwaukee, Inc. has announced the launch of a new crawler mounted crushing unit the Lippmann 3252 Track-Mounted Mobile Jaw Plant.

Lippmann is known throughout the industry as a leader in the manufacture of highly productive, reliable, mechanically driven, wheel mounted Jaw and Impact crushing plants.  So the company was convinced that designing another hydraulically-driven crawler plant to bring to market would compromise productivity.  To create the Lippmann 3252 Track Jaw, Lippmann employed its proven direct crusher drive gear transmission system to develop the Triple Power Match Drive System.  Teamed with Lippmann™s best in class 3252 Jaw crusher, the transmission system provides optimum power efficiency from two rear output points while employing twin VDP pumps for hydraulics.  The result is a track unit that offers reduced fuel consumption, greater system efficiency and higher productivity, states the company.

The size of the 3252 Jaw necessitates little to no preparation of material prior to crushing.  This jaw moves material through the chamber with forced-feeding action resulting form the inward and downward eccentric movement of the swing jaw.  Longer jaw dies and a larger eccentric means a reduction in nip angle, more positive bite and the ability to devour material.  The plant™s wider, hydraulically lowered main conveyor ensures greater material discharge capacity.  The plant™s diesel engine complies with EC State IIIA/EPA tier 3 emission regulations and offers low noise pollution.

Another major difference over other track models is Lippmann™s remarkably tough chassis design.  While many manufacturers use the crusher box as the tie brace between chassis and frame, this can cause excess vibration to the jaw™s bearing housing which could lead to bearing failure, catastrophic main frame failure, or common structural problems under the feeder.  Lippmann fabricates the chassis of square, hot rolled carbon steel, equally strong vertically and horizontally.  Numerous cross members prevent vibration fatigue and stress.  The gearbox housing is fixed to the chassis module, just like a bulldozer™s, so the track frames don™t go their separate way when changing direction under severe load. The plant™s oversized track drives provide high mobility on any terrain.

The unit also features an Intelligent Control System that is extremely user-friendly.  Information is displayed on one screen with single button process start, automatic process control, and built-in fault diagnostics.  Operation is by remote control from up to 300 yards.  An override umbilical option for emergency or service use is also available. Service platforms are designed for high operator safety and all service points offer easy access to machine components.

Robert Turner, Lippmann™s president stated, Our customers know the reliability of Lippmann equipment is unrivaled.  We finally feel that we™ve integrated the best features available anywhere to bring to market a superior track-mounted mobile jaw plant good enough to earn the Lippmann name.

An extended track line is under development to eventually include a Lippmann 3650 Track Jaw, a 4248 Track Impact unit, a 5165 Track Impact unit, and a new size 3862 Track Jaw which will offer a lower profile, high production, and greater portability than anything currently in its class, say company officials.
