Modesto, California, January 29, 2009- Racor Division of Parker Hannifin Corporation, the global leader in motion and control technologies, is pleased to remind the public of their R125 Fuel Filter/Water Separator Replacement Elements. The R125 is designed to be a direct replacement for the 300, 400, 600, and 700 Series Racor Fuel Filters in both the threads for the fuel filter head and for the collection bowl. If an engine is running an R45, R60, or R90 element it can now be upgraded to a R125 without the need to purchase a new bowl. Now it is easier than ever to get more capacity and flow without buying extra parts.
The R125P (30 micron) is a great fit for biodiesel applications as it is a larger filter with more capacity. A larger filter adds more filtration media surface area, which lowers the flow velocity going through each square inch of the media. This extends filter life and increases water removal efficiency.
All filter materials and seals are compatible with ultra-low sulfur diesel (ULSD) fuel and B2 to B20 Biodiesel. The R125 is available for order with 2, 10, or 30 micron proven Aquabloc® II media. Benefits include optimum engine protection with Aquabloc® II media, high capacity, high flow of 120 gph, and easy changeout with existing Racor parts.
