STATESVILLE, N.C. ” Doosan Infracore Portable Power offers a single-stage, oil-flooded rotary screw compressor that is engineered for large-volume applications with the Ingersoll Rand HP1600WCU, designed especially for the industrial, drilling, blasting and painting industries. The compressor has air delivery of 1,600 cubic feet per minute (45.3 cubic meters per minute) and a rated operating pressure of 150 pounds per square inch (10.3 bar). The HP1600WCU™s pressure ranges from 80 to 150 pounds per square inch (5.5 to 12.1 bar) ” allowing it to be utilized for a number of applications.
This compressor comes standard with a diesel engine and electronic controls to comply with U.S. / EPA exhaust emission requirements with onboard diagnostics. Other features include a two-stage, heavy-duty, dry-type air cleaner with replaceable primary and secondary elements located inside the unit. The HP1600WCU also features an environmentally friendly fluid containment system that allows for 100 percent of all fluids to dump into a double-wall, sealed container within the machine and 10 percent more without spillage.
A standard fuel / water separator and an exhaust rain cap ensure continuous operation. An electric starting system with two 4D, 1,400 CCA batteries and a start-run valve help the compressor start on cold days.
The HP1600WCU has excellent service access via large, lockable doors on all four sides. The unit features onboard diagnostics with direct engine communication. The compressor has also been designed with access panels for easy cooler cleaning and a low fuel shutdown to reduce maintenance time. Standard indicator warning lights include low engine coolant level, low fuel level, alternator malfunction and air filter maintenance.
Optional equipment includes the IQ System aftercooler plus particulated and coalescing filters with a patented condensate disposal system for cleaner, drier air. This system eliminates impurities in the compressed air, which is especially important in applications where additional oils and debris are not wanted.
