Hyundai™s new R800LC-7A is an impressive machine designed to be rugged and productive. This 181,880 pound machine is the largest member of Hyundai™s family of precision excavators.
Inside the cab, the operator will encounter an environmentally friendly design, riddled with creature comforts. Features including a fully adjustable seat, adjustable arm rests, large foot pedals, ergonomic joysticks prewired for auxiliary hydraulic funtions and 360 degree visibility all add to the R800LC-7A™s operator friendly cab. The cab is equipped with a left console that raises to an upright position for easy access and exit from the cab. A large capacity air conditioner, improved ventilation system, CD player / radio and water and dust-proofing seals further add to the overall comfort of the cab.
The 800″s powerful and reliable engine, the new Cummins QSX tier III, generates 460 net horsepower at 1,600 rpms. All that power means you can work faster and do more. This engine, is built to last with heavy-duty rings, pistons and bearings all built with high-strength alloys. The new QSX engine uses an advanced high-pressure common-rail fuel delivery system, designed to improve combustion efficiency, reduce emissions and maximize fuel economy!
Hyundai™s CAPO system provides computerized control of all the 800™s electric-powered functions, including engine speed, variable pump flow, boom priority function, power boost, auto and one touch deceleration functions, auto engine warm-up, engine overheat prevention, travel speed control, anti re-start function, and self diagnostic features.
The 800 also boasts an advanced hydraulic system designed for smooth-precise control. This system has been optimized to improve joystick to attachment response time. Additionally, energy saving features such as the arm-in / boom-down hydraulic flow regeneration system improves speed at those functions without requiring more engine power. This improves productivity and fuel efficiency!
The brains of the machine, Hyundai”s CAPO computer system ties the hydraulic system and engine technology together for maximum synergy. The CAPO system offers two operator power mode selections, 3 work mode selections and 2 user mode selections to optimize machine performance for the job at hand!
Maintenance and diagnostic capablities are also simplified throughout the machine. An auto lubrication system and easy access to filters and service areas all make maintaining this new 800 fast and easy. The CAPO system also simplifies the service on the machine by displaying service fault codes on the monitor. Additional service information can be downloaded and analyzed on an external laptop.
When equipped with a mass excavator 23™ 7 boom and 9™ 8 arm, the new R800LC-7A can handle a 5.91 yd3 bucket for maximum productivity and performance.
