Self-Sharpening
Because they are self-sharpening, the Hilti polygon chisels make resharpening and rehardening unnecessary, allowing your customer to maintain a high level of performance throughout the chisel™s life while allowing your employees to work on more important things than sharpening chisels. The Hilti polygon chisel also increases the working length of flat and wide-flat chisels by 100 percent, allowing for deeper penetration. Over the life of the Hilti chisels, your customers™ chiseling efficiency and removal rate is increased by up to 30 percent compared with a standard chisel. This means your tool will be used up to 30 percent less while accomplishing the same work.
No Jamming
The Hilti chisel™s unique polygon design also helps prevent the chisel from jamming in the base material. This reduces jobsite interruptions and helps reduce the risk of tool damage that may result from attempts to pry or free a stuck chisel.
Joining the self-sharpening family
The 1 1/8-inch hex connection polygon chisel joins the TE-YP (SDS Max), TE-TP, TE-CP (SDS+) and TE-SP chisels, available in pointed, narrow-flat and wide-flat versions.
