The Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) will hold its 2007 Executive Forum Feb. 15-18 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa in Bonita Springs, Florida. Landscape company owners, managers and green industry leaders, as well as their families, are invited to the event. Online registration for the forum will be available Nov. 1 at www.greenindustryconference.com.
The three-day Executive Forum gives attendees an opportunity to share best practices and gain information from industry experts each morning while enjoying free time for golf, sightseeing, shopping and other entertainment each afternoon. PLANET marketing director Sherry MacDonald says this year’s forum will include not only speakers from the industry and green industry companies, but also speakers from academia to help owners and managers learn how to apply lean management ideas to their businesses. MacDonald says PLANET expects about 300 to attend the forum.
“Most attendees are company owners and high-level managers who come to relax and recharge their batteries before the busy season starts-and to learn something new that will help them improve their businesses in the coming year,” MacDonald says.
