APLD opens chapter in Oklahoma

The Association of Professional Landscape Designers has formed a new chapter to serve landscape designers in Oklahoma. APLD chapters already exist in California, Midwest Regional, Intermountain Regional, New England Regional, Oregon, Southwest Regional, Washington, Georgia Regional, New Jersey, Delaware-Pennsylvania Regional, and D.C.-Maryland-Virginia.

The Oklahoma chapter’s plans include promoting the profession of landscape design throughout the state and offering a variety of educational seminars and professional-level workshops. “We hope to create a mutually supportive group by providing networking opportunities for members,” says Mary Lou Havener, chapter president.
