Briggs & Stratton’s recent acquisition efforts led to the company’s recent announcement of the formation of its new Yard Power Products Group. The new business unit comprises Briggs & Stratton-owned brands Simplicity, Ferris, Snapper, Snapper-Pro, Murray and Giant-Vac and will be served by approximately 9,500 dealers throughout North America.
According to Vince Shiely, senior vice president and president of the Yard Power Products Group, the new division will be committed to offering its dealers and end-use customers dependable products with unique features that will set them apart from competitive offerings.
“It has taken us many years to develop this network and we value each and every one of our dealer partners,” Shiely says. “We plan to continue to invest in this valuable asset and to find ways to help our dealers be successful now and in the future.”
