Waindle named J.J. Mauget director of new product development

As part of its emphasis on research and development, J.J. Mauget Co. has created a director of new product development position, which will be filled by Marianne Waindle. In this position, Waindle will work with potential suppliers to identify emerging chemistries, collaborate with universities and government agencies on product trials and tests and oversee the workflow and completion of research and development projects.

Waindle earned a master’s degree in integrated pest management and a bachelor’s degree in ornamental horticulture and plant pathology from the University of Georgia. She joined J.J. Mauget Co. in 2006 as the west region sales representative. She is a member of the Pesticide Applicators Professional Association and the California Association of Pest Control Advisers and is an International Society of Arboriculture certified arborist.

“Mauget has a strong commitment to bring the most effective products to market,” Waindle says, “and my role will help identify new products and applications that will ultimately help our customers and provide minimal risk to the environment.”
