Advanced Sensor Technology upgraded the wireless soil sensors that provide data to its RZ-Wireless soil monitoring system. The upgraded sensors allow for greater accuracy when monitoring moisture, salinity and temperature in soil.
The sensors are easy to install at any soil depth or orientation, and individual sensors can now be interchanged for easy reconfiguration of the system. Sub-surface installation avoids damage to sensors and eliminates the need for trenching. In addition, the sensors can hold custom calibration curves and produce a diagnostic output to evaluate a sensor’s accuracy.
