Green Roofs for Healthy Cities is accepting submissions for papers and posters to be presented at the 7th Annual International Greening Rooftops for Sustainable Communities Conference, Awards and Trade Show. The conference will be June 3-5, 2009, in Atlanta, Georgia.
The conference is designed to raise awareness about the benefits of green roofs as well as provide participants with information on recent research findings, latest designs, implementation techniques and products.
Green Roofs for Healthy Cities is interested in presentations that emphasize the themes of water management, urban heat island and air quality and green space. Abstract submissions are due by October 31. For more information and to download a submission form, visit www.greenroofs.org.
