Intelligent Use Of Water Summit to Appear Live

Logo Rblogo Pms347Rain Bird will provide the opportunity for a global audience to view and participate in the upcoming Intelligent Use of Water Summit XIII: â€śPlay on! Water Issues in Today’s Sport Turf Environment” through a live Webcast from Michigan State University beginning at 8 a.m. EST on Jan. 24.

Available for public viewing on RainBird.com and on Rain Bird’s Facebook fan page, the symposium will focus on providing insight into the science and application sides of turf management in a water sensitive environment.

Presented in partnership by Rain Bird and the Michigan Turfgrass Foundation (MTF) at Michigan State University, The Intelligent Use of Water Summit XIII: â€śPlay on! Water Issues in Today’s Sport Turf Environment” will feature brief presentations by a panel of experts followed by a moderated discussion that further examines the topics of water quality, turfgrass science, irrigation design and sports turf course design as it relates to efficient water use.

Charles FishmanNew York Times best-selling author of the book, The Big Thirst, will deliver the keynote address following the panel discussions. Each panel discussion will feature turfgrass, environmental and water experts, including:

In addition to watching the live webcast of the Summit’s panel discussions and presentations, viewers will also have the opportunity to participate in the Intelligent Use of Water Summit by submitting questions for the panelists via Rain Bird’s Twitter (@RainBirdCorp) feed and Facebook fan page.
