Sharkmarx Expands to Northeast

Updated Mar 22, 2013

SharkMarxSharkmarx hit a critical milestone by registering dealers throughout the Northeast footprint.

According to co-found George Beiter, the first phase of the launch was to focus on manufacturers and then move to a network of dealers.

The next stage is aggressively targeting professional landscape contractors to use the Sharkmarx purchasing engine, adding that traditional and electronic advertising campaigns were recently launched and the company is seeing a large spike in contractor registrations.

With the Sharkmarx purchasing technology, buyers of landscape products simply post their material needs on the Sharkmarx website, which automatically solicits bids from authorized sellers of those products.

Each seller can submit competitive bids to earn the business. Winning sellers arrange delivery or pick-up as specified by the buyer’s posted requirements.
