Auburn University is getting creative when it comes to rainfall.
According to a report from WTVM, Auburn has created a water conservation demonstration to help educate students about the importance of improving water quality.
The campus features a 1,000-gallon cistern that collects rain from the roof of a building that feeds directly into a nearby rain garden.
Stormwater can be dangerous to an environment and hazardous to plants because of pollution caught in rain water.
However, the Auburn team is able to capture and slow down the water.
