The Minnesota High Tech Association (MHTA) named Toro a finalist for the 2013 Tekne Awards, which are to be held on Nov. 6 at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
The awards are to honor Minnesota companies and individuals who have shown superior technology innovation and leadership.
Toro was recognized for innovation in a category focused on improving productivity, efficiency and environmental sustainability.
The company was selected for its PrecisionSense site assessment system, which utilizes mobile soil sensing and data collection technology to measure the variability of key site attributes.
