GMC has introduced an upgrade to its 2015 Sierra HD trucks with a luxury design meant to get hard work done in style.
Available on 2500HD and 3500HD double cab and crew cab models, the 2015 Sierra All-Terrain HD design will be offered in SLE and SLT trims. A 6.0-liter gasoline engine is standard but the Durmax turbo-diesel is available. The design includes four-wheel drive and the Z71 Off Road package with Rancho twin-tube shocks, hill descent control and a skid plate.
On the outside, the All-Terrain HD design ups the Sierra’s style with a chrome surround on the grille, 18-inch six-spoke aluminum wheels (20-inch wheels are available on the 2500HD) and aluminum underbody shields. The 3500HD models include adjustable outside camper mirrors with a chrome cap.
The truck also features LED headlamps and more chrome with chrome mirror covers and body side moldings, a chrome front-lower bumper plate and an available chrome bumper.
Inside, a rearview camera system is standard and the All-Terrain’s interior is distinguished from other Sierra models by a carbon fiber theme and the All-Terrain logo on the instrument cluster. The truck also features a 4G LTE wireless internet connection and offers riders a WiFi hotspot.
The 2015 Sierra All-Terrain HD will go on sale this fall. The All-Terrain design is also available for the 2014 GMC Sierra and will be offered on the mid-size 2015 GMC Canyon.
