Oregon is expanding its outdoor power equipment with the addition of three products: a blower, second-generation chainsaw and a corded electric chainsaw.
The BL300 Blower is a battery-powered machine with a variable speed triggers and turbo button to help determine the proper airflow for the job. On turbo, the BL300 provides 495 cfm at 132 mph. On high, the blower offers 394 cfm at 105 mph. The BL300 features a bystander decibel rating of less than 65db.
The cordless CS300 Chainsaw has been redesigned to produce 40 percent more power. Equipped with on-tool PowerSharp technology, the blower includes a 16-inch bar (versus a 14-inch on its predecessor), tool-less tensioning and a brushless motor.
The 15-amp, corded electric CS1500 Chainsaw is self-sharpening and offers an instant start. The chainsaw comes equipped with an 18-inch reduced kickback guide bar and chain. The PowerSharp lever sharpens the chain in approximately 3 seconds.
The BL300 Blower and CS300 Chainsaw are powered by Oregon’s battery platform, featuring lithium ion cylindrical cell technology.
The CS1500 Chainsaw will be available for purchase in Fall 2014, while the BL300 Blower and CS300 chainsaw will be available in early 2015.
