The Briggs & Stratton Power Products Group has added a SnowShredder serrated auger on single-stage snowblowers.
The SnowShredder auger system combines 14 welded and serrated steel surfaces with reinforced rubber paddles to chop, grind and clear compacted snow and ice.
The auger is available on two models, the 922EXD and the 1222EE, in Snapper- and Simplicity-branded single-stage snowblowers. The 922EXD model is also available under the Briggs & Stratton brand.
Additionally, the auger features a self-propelled drive system.
The highest-end model (1222EE) of the single-stage snowblower features the 250cc Briggs & Stratton engine. The engine is complemented by an electric chute rotation control.
All Snapper, Simplicity and Briggs & Stratton models feature an ergonomically designed handlebar and controls for comfort and maneuverability.
In addition, there is also a push-button electric start for cold days down to -20 Fahrenheit.
Snapper, Simplicity and Briggs & Stratton models will be carried by participating independent dealers. The Briggs & Stratton-branded 922EXD model is also available at select Lowe’s stores.
