The Philadelphia Flower Show, one of the biggest and largest-running garden shows in the world, is on through March 8. The event is themed “Celebrate the Movies” and is at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
This year, actor Dan Aykroyd will stop by at 1:30 p.m. on March 6. There are other themed nights throughout the event. The show includes design studios, plants, flowers, garden exhibits and landscapes.
The Environmental Protection Agency will have an exhibit called “Now Showing at a Garden Near You.” Visitors will explore a formal garden with a fountain. Native plants and a praying mantis will be used to showcase sustainable landscaping.
