Exmark adds 52-inch EFI propane model to its Vantage S-Series

Exmark VantagePropaneExmark’s Vantage S-Series Propane stand-on rider with electronic fuel injection (EFI) is the latest addition to the company’s line of propane commercial mowers. The new model uses a Kohler EFI propane engine. Exmark says the mower delivers increased fuel economy, performance and reliability while remaining environmentally friendly.

A company spokesman says Exmark has seen an increasing number of landscape contractors turning to propane as a way to reduce costs. “Fuel is one of our customers’ largest expenses and increasing fuel costs have put a serious dent in the profitability of many contractors across the country,” said Daryn Walters, marketing director of Exmark.

The company says the efficiency of the EFI system reduces fuel consumption by up to 40 percent compared with carbureted propane engines. The Vantage S-Series Propane model is available with a 52-inch, welded-steel cutting deck with 7-gauge steel-reinforced spindle mounting rings. The blade spindles feature cast aluminum housings and zero-maintenance, sealed heavy-duty bearings.
