Royal Environmental Systems, a division of Royal Enterprises America, has obtained a license for Percoa USA’s patented technology. Under an agreement between the two companies, Royal Environmental will manufacture and distribute Percoa pre-cast pervious concrete slabs and pavers.
Percoa USA holds patents for its pre-cast pervious concrete system, manufacturing methods and related water-filtration systems. Royal Environmental Systems, which makes concrete and storm-water treatment structures, is also a supplier of sediment and erosion-control solutions.
“Royal Environmental Systems has advanced expertise in pre-cast concrete production and 25 years of experience in producing and installing storm-water infrastructure products,” said Brett Pomerleau, founder and president of Percoa USA. “They manufacture Percoa in their high-quality, controlled production processes and ensure consistency and conformance to specifications.”
According to a news release on the licensing and distribution agreement, Percoa pre-cast pervious concrete is engineered with an open-cell structure to allow rainwater to drain directly through its entire surface. Royal Environmental says it will use Percoa’s patented technology to produce pre-cast pervious slabs and pavers with consistent structural characteristics, uniformity and predictable performance.
