Avant Tecno USA revealed its 760i Tier 4 Final loader at last year’s GIE+EXPO, following up at this year’s event with the company’s new Artificial Turf Maintenance & Cleaning Solution.
Avant says the new attachment is appropriate for cleaning any sports surface with artificial turf. The ATA 1200 can be used on any model of Avant’s multi-functional loader.
Cleaning artificial turf regularly prolongs its life, Avant says, promising that in one pass the ATA de-compacts infill with a rake and re-deposits it, while cleaning the turf fibers and collecting debris.
The process helps prevent compaction, according to Avant, which notes that well-maintained artificial turf fields lessen the risks of acute and chronic injury.
The ATA 1200 is fully hydraulic and has a cleaning width of 47 inches. It also has two hoppers for dust and two for debris. An optional rotator can be used to help maneuver the attachment through tight spaces.
Avant Tecno USA offers more than 100 attachments. It is a subsidiary of Avant Tecno Corp., which is based in Finland. The company was founded in 1991.
