Rugby Manufacturing chose this week’s National Association of Trailer Manufacturers show in Las Vegas to introduce two new trailer hoists, the TB-12 and TB-14.

The scissor hoists are designed for 10- to 16-foot trailers with capacities ranging from 6.9 tons to 15.7 tons.

Based in Rugby, North Dakota, the manufacturer says the TB-12 and TB-14 produce weight savings of almost 100 pounds.

The new body prop is incorporated into the hoist with no installation required. Each hoist carries a three-year warranty, the company says.

Rugby Manufacturing notes that all of its trailer hoists are engineered and tested for an extended lifecycle at full-rated capacity.

A subsidiary of Truck Bodies and Equipment International (TBEI), Rugby Manufacturing is best known as a designer and manufacturer of Class 3-7 dump bodies, landscape bodies, platforms and related truck equipment and accessories. Other TBEI brands include Crysteel, DuraClass, J-Craft and Ox Bodies.
