Kubota Tractor Corp. has introduced a new compact track loader, the SVL95-2s, which replaces the SVL90-2 CTL in the manufacturer’s product lineup. The new machine is scheduled to arrive at Kubota dealerships this month.

Five hydraulic presets are available on the SVL95-2s via an in-cab control. When equipped with the optional high flow, Kubota says, the CTL is ideal for jobs that require running more than a single attachment.

The new CTL’s more powerful high-flow hydraulic system can be programmed and adjusted at the push of a button to adjust flow rates from as little as 5 to as much as 40 gallons per minute, according to Kubota, which notes that capability is a 19-percent improvement over previous models – and at line pressures of 3,553 PSI.

Operators can use up to three hydraulic circuits in parallel, the company says, controlling the loader, the bucket and an auxiliary device such as an auger or drill.

The SVL95-2s has a bucket breakout force of 7,961 pounds and a vertical lift designed to deliver a reach of 40.7 inches.

The new machine is powered by a turbocharged, liquid-cooled, four-cylinder diesel engine with a common rail system (CRS). In tandem with exhaust gas recirculation (EGR), a diesel particulate filter (DPF) and a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system, the CRS enables the engine to produce 96.4 gross horsepower while meeting Tier Four Final emission standards.

Kubota says its new CTL is equipped with a 28.8-gallon fuel tank and a 5-gallon diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) tank and can run eight to 10 hours without refueling and four to five days before a DEF tank refill is needed.

Kubota points to several cab improvements that increase comfort and convenience for operators. In addition to the push-button control for the optional high-flow hydraulics and a high-back suspension seat, the cab has a wider entrance than the earlier model. And because the SVL95-2s is 6 inches longer than the model it replaces, the radiator fan has been relocated farther to the rear of the vehicle, reducing interior noise.
