Weed Man USA franchises stayed busy this spring and the company that oversees the franchises expects the summer and fall to be at least as good.
Weed Man USA is North America’s fastest growing lawn-care franchise. Having reached the midpoint of 2016, the company’s management says they now expect Weed Man to exceed growth projections for the full year.
This calendar year, Weed Man USA has acquired 16 new territories and seven license agreements and projects that will add a total of 49 new territories by year’s end.
Weed Man achieved 2015 sales of more than $83 million. The company now expects to see that number grow by 14 percent this year.
“There is still a lot of room for us to grow in the United States and we are seeing increased interest from independent operators in our industry who recognize the potential of adding Weed Man’s services into their existing business,” said Jennifer Lemcke, chief operating officer of Turf Holdings Inc., the company that owns the expansion rights for Weed Man USA. Weed Man has 472 territories nationwide.
Weed Man says it expects a significant share of U.S. homeowners will continue to invest in professional lawn-care service, particularly the fertilization, weed control and integrated pest management services provided by Weed Man.
