John Deere is adding new compact utility tractor models 2032R, 2038R and 3025E to its 2R and 3E Series lineup.
The additions to the 2R line are large-chassis models that are designed to improve productivity, according to the manufacturer.
Both have an increased tractor weight for better stability on various terrains. Ergonomic controls, a tilt steering wheel, cruise control, rubber floor mat and suspension seat are all included to lessen driver fatigue.
The 2032R and 2038R feature John Deere’s “CommandCut” lift systems that allow operators to adjust cutting heights with a turn of a dial and pull of a lever. TwinTouch foot controls streamline speed, and direction controls and the eThrottle can automatically increase or decrease speeds.
Front, mid and rear implements can be installed at the same time and have seven different combination options. The quick-attach backhoe doesn’t require removing the three-point hitch draft arms and the AutoConnect mid-mount mower decks are also easy to attach and detach.
“Our customers are looking for efficient, durable and easy-to-use solutions that allow them to do more work in less time with less effort,” said Jared Lowe, product marketing manager for compact utility tractors for John Deere. “When designing the new 2R Series models, we focused on improving machine stability, comfort and implement attachability to deliver on those needs.”
The 2R Series models come equipped with standard work lights on the fender and an optional LED work light kit is available to those who want to lengthen the workday. Maintenance has been simplified by extending the fluid service intervals and improving the access to the engine compartment along with the engine oil dipstick.
The 3025E model was created in response to customers’ needs and budgets, the company says. It rounds out the 3E Series as the 25-horsepower option.
The 3025E features a two-range hydrostatic transmission that removes the need for clutching. The machine also has TwinTouch foot controls.
The operator can easily enter and exit the tractor and controls are color coded for convenience. The compact utility tractor can use a number of implements and the optional iMatch Quick-Hitch is available for even faster rear implement hookup.
The John Deere Service ADVISOR system provides self-diagnostic capabilities so the owner is always aware of when servicing is needed.
