New outdoor power equipment manufacturer YARDMAX will be present at this year’s GIE+EXPO in Louisville, Kentucky, where it will be featuring its full product line.
Based in Libertyville, Illinois, YARDMAX was founded in 2015 and the company entered the OPE market in May 2016. It offers a range of log splitters, snow blowers, chipper shredders, concrete mixers and much more.
“While the industry outlook is positive, YARDMAX recognizes that contractors, landscapers and professional DIYers need every possible edge to effectively compete and ensure customer satisfaction,” said Shad Shafer, YARDMAX vice president and partner. “That’s why we’ve engineered our equipment specifically to provide professionals with the premium product features they need to get the job done right at an affordable price.”
Of YARDMAX’s products, it manufactures both gas and electric log splitters. The gas model is available with a 25-, 28-, 30-, and 35-ton splitting force and is powered by a Briggs & Stratton engine.
It features a four-way wedge to split logs twice as fast and a patent-pending U-beam design, which according to YARDMAX is significantly stronger than an I-beam design. The gas log splitter can split both vertically and horizontally and comes in full- and half- beam designs.
The electric log splitter has a 5-ton splitting force and is lightweight enough that its portability is easy.
With winter on its way, YARDMAX has also has designed its snow throwers and snow blowers to remove snow with ease, saving users time.
Coming in 22-, 24-, and 26-inch snow clearing widths, the two-stage snow blower can clear snow up 12 inches deep while reducing operator fatigue. The blower comes with serrated steel augers, an extended chute, and self-propelled drive with multiple speeds. Its standard pin-lock axle allows the user to switch between improved traction or maneuverability.
The 26-inch model ups the ante by coming with an LED headlight, heated handgrips, dashboard and cup holder.
The single-stage snow throwers have a snow-clearing width of 18 inches and can handle up to 11 inches of snow. It has rubber edged augers that pull it forward while clearing the pavement. It can distribute snow evenly by turning its 180 degree rotating on-chute handle.
For those interested in view YARDMAX’s products at GIE from Oct. 19-21, it will be at booth No. 1174.
