Toro has announced its all-new 24-inch stand-on aerator, which the company says features a compact design and revolutionary new features.
The company says it was built for the busiest of landscape contractors to aid in productivity demands. The new models fit through a standard 36-inch gate, which Toro says makes quick work of any small-to large-size aeration projects.
The 24-inch stand-on aerator can reach grounds speeds of up to 6.5 mph, and the company says it optimizes power and hydraulics to ensure consistent core depths regardless of terrain.
Featuring a hydraulic valve that can adjust operator weight and electronic depth control, Toro says the power to aerate is maximized. Once put into action, the company says operators will be able to notice consistent plug depths of up to 5 inches in length.
“We believe the new 24-inch stand-on aerator is an excellent machine for landscape contractors who want all the performance and productivity of a larger stand-on aerator in a more nimble and maneuverable package,” said Chris Vogtman, marketing manager at Toro. “Being able to reach areas with a stand-on unit that could previously only be accessed by a walk-behind unit is a real benefit to landscape contractors and their crews.”
Also featuring an intuitive smart controller, Toro says that all of the necessary functions are at the operator’s fingertips; this, the company adds, includes depth control highlighted by a supervisor maximum depth lockout, tine activation lock out and maintenance reminders.
The 24-inch stand-on aerator is also compatible with an all-new seed spreader attachment, which Toro says ensures ultimate productivity and versatility.
Toro adds that operators can now pull plugs and overseed with precision on a single machine.
