Nominations are now open for Equipment World’s first Big Iron Dealer of the Year award. Equipment World is a sister publication of Total Landscape Care. This honor is open to dealers and rental companies of all sizes and seeks to recognize these companies for excellence in industry and community engagement.
Dealers/rental companies in North America can apply for the program themselves by using this form. These companies can also be nominated by their customers, other dealers/rental companies, associations or a manufacturer. Those nominating a dealer/rental company (outside of the company) can simply use this quick form to outline why they think this company deserves this award.
The Equipment World editors will then ask each nominated dealer for further information. All nominations are anonymous.
The focus of the Big Iron Dealer award will be on community engagement, customer education, staff training and marketing initiatives, along with sales, rental, and service performance. Since this is not primarily a sales or revenue award, it is open to distributors and rental companies of all sizes.
We’ll be looking at questions such as the following:
- How do you keep your company and employees involved in the communities in which you serve?
- What have you done to make sure your employees are ready to serve your customer’s needs?
- What is your most challenging problem and how have you addressed it?
The winner of the Big Iron Dealer of the Year award will be featured on the Big Iron Dealer page, be recognized in the print edition of Equipment World and receive an invitation to attend and receive their award at R-Squared, a construction and trucking marketing conference hosted by Equipment World’s parent company Randall-Reilly.
The deadline for nominations is Friday, Aug. 3.
