The top expense for most landscapers is fuel: But what if you had a self-fueled mower?
That’s exactly what Jason Force created, according to MyFoxPhilly.com. Force invented the E-Mow — the world’s first self-fueled lawn mower.
The mower uses a vortex dryer to remove water from the clippings and then heats and pressurizes them to create pellets, according to the site.
The pellets go in the top, and there’s a reaction fuel gas that comes out the side, which powers the mower.
Force says the the technology will first be used to create alfalfa feed pellets for livestock and then in commercial mowers by next summer.
