Commercial durability meets domestic power with Briggs & Stratton Commercial Power’s line of Vanguard 810-cc engines for commercial zero-turn mowers. The company will begin production on the engines, which are available in 24- or 26-gross horsepower models, January 2014 in Auburn, Alabama. Features include increased torque and easier serviceability with debris-access panels compared to previous models. Over and out

Stop over-processing clippings when mowing with the Exmark rear-discharge deck, available on the Lazer DS-Series. The heavy-duty fabricated deck is available in 60- and 72-inch widths and uses maintenance-free blade spindles. Radio control

Launching at GIE+EXPO, the Predator 38RX stump cutter, from Predator Power, has a 38-horsepower engine and teeth that are pre-set in the wheel. This radio-controlled machine has an 18-inch cutting depth, 54-inch swing and 30-inch cutting height. Predator Power will also release its 50RX and 360 stump cutter models at the tradeshow.
