Fecon offers front grapple for skid steers
Fecon has added the FG58 front-mounted grapple for skid steers to its line of vegetation management and reforestation products. The FG58 weighs 800 pounds, has a static load lifting weight of 8,990 pounds and a dynamic load lifting weight of 2,810 pounds. The grapple has a maximum opening of 58 inches. It can open in .8 seconds and close in 1 second at 15 gpm. With a gripping area of 350 square inches, the FG58 is ideal for tree removal and landscaping applications.


Husqvarna offers fuel-efficient brush cutter
The powerful 335Rx brush cutter from Husqvarna combines 15 percent more power, a 30 percent larger fuel tank and 18 percent less fuel consumption than previous models. The 335Rx is powered by the X-Torq engine system – a two-stroke engine combining high power, low weight and reduced emissions. Low Vib technology separates the engine and cutting equipment from the handles, reducing the amount of vibration felt by the operator.


DR introduces tow-behind field and brush mower
The new mower from DR Power Equipment allows tractor and ATV owners to clear overgrown property. The mower is available in two engine configurations: a standard 13-horsepower powerplant or with an optional 17-horsepower overhead valve engine. Both models include a remote control that enables the operator to control the throttle and mower blade and start and stop the electric-start engine from the towing vehicle. The 44-inch-wide deck’s height can be changed from 5 inches to 7.5 inches in 1.25-inch increments.


Brush cutter designed for skid-steer loaders
The BC72 brush cutter by Bradco comes in 60-, 72- or 78-inch heavy-duty deck widths with a foam filled caster wheel designed to adapt to extreme applications. A /-inch-thick high-strength steel deck with formed, stiffened side plates and skid shoes offers added strength and rigidity, and a stump jumper eases operation while protecting the gear box from impact damage. Motor options include 25 to 40 gpm flow with internal relief for drive system protection and fast controlled shutdown.


RockHound offers the 40EXTreme brush cutter
Weighing more than 1,300 pounds and designed for maximum professional brush clearing durability, RockHound Attachments’ new 40 EXTreme features a cutter drum more than 1⁄2-inch thick. Its mounting ears are 5⁄8-inch thick and end plates are 3⁄4-inch thick. It’s Extreme hammer knife configuration uses a 2-pound knife and swinging hammer to cut and mulch heavy vegetation into small pieces.


Dolmar’s professional-grade brush cutters
Dolmar’s MS-260 U and MS-330 U brush cutters feature emission-compliant, deep torque 25.6 cc and 32.6 cc engines respectively. The larger MS-4510 boasts a fully shrouded, conventional two-stroke 45 cc engine with tool-less handle bar adjustment. Features include strong power-to-weight design, low vibration, quiet operation and comfortable operator handling.


Stihl clearing saw maintains constant fuel/air ratio
A four-point anti-vibration system, standard on all Stihl clearing saws, complements a high power-to-weight ratio on the FS 350 clearing saw. A low-maintenance air filter and IntelliCarb compensating carburetor help maintain a constant fuel/air ratio in the motor. The saw’s rugged design features soft grip handles that are easy to adjust and a comfortable shoulder harness with multi-position harness bracket. The handle bar swivels for easy transport and storage.


Ammbusher debuts new brush cutter for 15th anniversary
Ammbusher’s DL-66 heavy-duty rotary brush cutter has a rugged steel housing and AR400 replaceable skid shoes. Standard features include a 66-inch cutting width, front push bar and front hinged spring-loaded door with chain curtain. Weighing 1,900 pounds, the DL-66 will cut and mulch trees or brush up to six inches in diameter. Skid-steer loaders must have a hydraulic flow of 22 to 40 gpm to operate the DL-66.


Montana Flex-Wing rotary cutter ideal for large spaces
The rugged Flex-Wing rotary brush cutter by Montana Tractors features a 7-gauge steel deck that is sloped to shed water and debris. The 15-foot cutting width is ideal for mowing roadside ditches, fields, pastures and brush up to 4 inches in diameter. Options include six-wheel walking tandem axles and single- or double-chain shielding.
