The latest addition to John Deere’s “Worksite Pro” line of attachments is the NF44 nursery fork, which the company says is optimized to work with select John Deere E- and D-Series skid steers and compact track loaders, as well as most competitors’ models.
In a news release on the NF44, John Deere cites the following key features:
- Ability to transport and position up to 44-inch balled or container trees and shrubs, along with rocks and light boulders.
- A 3,000-pound carrying capacity and 54-inch fork opening.
- One stationary arm and a second arm that has the ability to swing open and then close onto the load.
- A 6-inch tread plate that firmly grips bags, boxes, plants and rocks.
John Deere also offers an optional pressure-control kit that limits the arm-closing pressure, reducing the possibility of damage to materials.
With the universal, self-cleaning “Quik-Tatch” attachment system found on all John Deere skid steers and compact track loaders, the machines can add and remove the nursery fork quickly and easily, the manufacturer says.
The new attachment is backed by John Deere parts, service and warranty coverage. For more information, visit the company’s website.
