Rock Line Products Inc. manufactures three enclosed Airtow Trailer models. The enclosure is lightweight but heavy-duty, the company says, and the trailer’s engineering – the fully automatic dual air suspension system in particular – complements the design’s cargo protection by making loading and unloading safer and easier.
The enclosure is made with galvanized Z-bars, sturdy siding and heavy-duty, cam-lock doors, Rock Line Products says, describing its Airtow Trailer as a “mobile vault for your equipment or cargo.”
The 3/16-inch steel deck remains level as you raise or lower it hydraulically, a process that takes less than 15 seconds. And with the drop-deck, loading all types of equipment becomes a safe, one-man job, according to Rock Line Products.
Airtow Trailers’ self-adjusting air suspension is equipped with “Air-float” swing-arm axles that pivot on extra-large tapered roller bearings and ride on Firestone air bags. This keeps the wheels locked into a vertical plane of movement and running true, the manufacturer says, eliminating both uneven tire wear and premature tire failure.
Because of its design, the trailer not only protects the equipment you’re hauling but the tow vehicle as well, the company says.
Rock Line Products is based in La Verne, California, and has a manufacturing plant there as well as a manufacturing plant and distribution center in Wapakoneta, Ohio. You can check out all of the Airtow models here.
